Results: This paper reports that Ge-132 possessed the remarkable resistance effects on AFB\-1 \{reducing\} Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) activity in vivo during AFB\-1-induced hepatocarcinogenesis for short term model experiments. The SOD activity can be affected by the time and the dosage of Ge-132 intaken. Conclusion: The results indicated that antioxidative ability of Ge-132 is relate to its anticarciogenicity. Ge-132 can be used as a safe and effective chemoprevention agent.
