Progress and Prospect on Biohydrometallurgical Techniques to Recovery Valuable Metals from the Refractory Sulfides

century is the fastest developmental century of biological techniques.The new technique of biohydrometalluegy will bring novel opportunities and challenges to recovery the valuable metallic elements bom the low grade gold bearing refractory sulfidic ores.When compared to the traditional mineral oxidative processes,biooxidative process has a bright prospect in industry with the characters of economic,environmental friendly.In the paper,the actualities and future expanded trends of the biohydrometallurgical process in the field of minerals engineering are briefly reviewed.
