The Application of Magnesium and Magnesium Alloy Materials and the Development of Their Processing Technigues

In this article,the application of magnesium and magnesium alloy materials in traffic,aviation and spaceflightm,electronic,nuclear energy,chemical engineering and metallurgical industries,ere,was intro- duced in more detail.The processing technigues of magnesium alloy materials were briefly discussed.The re- search and development of the novel magnesium alloy materials and the new progress in the teehnigues for investment casting,die casting forming,extrusion pressing,forging pressing and rolling process were em- phatically described.It should be pointed out that the magnesium alloy is a novel prospective metallic materi- al,and its process technologies will further quick-speed development.
