Calculation of the Thermodynamic Properties of Mg-Zn Alloy

ZHOU Hong-yi(Chongqing Vocational Institute of Engineering,Chongqing 400037)  
The formation enthalpies of liquid state and solid state for Mg-Sc alloy have been calculated,according to the Miedema model.The activity curve of Sc also has been calculated using some thermodynamic equations,and the interaction coefficient has been fitted.It is shown that the Miedema model and the regular solution model are applicable to Mg-Sc alloy.
