Ore-forming geological conditions and prospecting potential for Mengyingzi silver polymetallic deposits in Inner Mongolia

Jurassic and Permian stratum widely occur in Mengyingzi.It is found that there are locally Cu、Pb、Zn and Ag mineralization showings in the granite-porphyry bodies in Early Yanshan period.The contact belts between granite-porphyry bodies and wall rocks are developed with Sericitize and silicification,which can provide room for formation of ore deposits.And by preliminary drilling test,Postmagmatic hydrothermal vein type ore deposits which have economical value mainly have been found.The result shows that the study area is potential for Ag、Pb、Sn deposit in middle to large scale.All these are indicate that this region has benign prospecting potential.
