STUDY ON THE OPEN-LOOP POLYMERIZED PHENOLIC-BASIS COMPOSITE ——DEVELOPMENT OF GLASS-CLOTH LAMINATE MDAPF1-EGF

A new type of phenolic-basis glass-cloth laminate (MDAPF1 - EGF) has been prepared through comixing the epoxy resin with the intermediate containing the ring-structure benzoxazine , adding suitable catalyst and open-loop polymerization- The resin curing behaviour was studied by such methods as the measurement of gelling time.DTA.TBA and so on;the influence of the catalyst quantity was discussed and the more reasonable technology was determined. The performance measurement shows that the thermal resistant temperature is 210℃ for the cured resin.the flexural strength of the glass-cloth laminate at 180℃ is 270MPa and it is suitable for using as the high ,temperature-resistant structure matencal.
