APPLICATION OF EPOXY RESIN/IODONIUMSALT SYSTEM IN LASER-CURING RAPID PROTOTYPING

Three different diphenyliodoniumsalt were synthesized and acted as cationic photoinitiators in the curing of epoxy resin with laser curing rapid prototyping. The results showed that the structure of anion part in diphenyliodonium could affect the laser curing velocity of epoxy resin greatly. The best content of diphenyliodo niumsalt was 3%~5%. The addition of photosensitizer could improve the efficiency of photoinitiation. Parameters such as laser power, beam scanning speed and so on had fairsized effects on the curing process. The shrinkage of curing initiated by cationic initiator was less than free redical initiator.
