Resin nano-cerium composite was prepared with a styrene sulfonic acid sodium cation exchange resin, which was used to shield middle and low energy X-ray radiation. The transmission electroscope test results showed that the nano-cerium was evenly distributed in the composite and its diameter was about 20 nm. The attenuation to X-ray was measured by X-ray CT scanning machine. It was found that the property of attenuation to X-ray of nano-cerium was much better than that of typic cerium nitrate.Otherwise, it was a multinomial properties shielding radiation composite, which could be used as intensifying screen because of its small size affect and special tracks.
