BENDNG PROPERTY OF PM FOAM CORE FLLED GFRP HAT-STFFENED BEAM

Three-point bending test were carried out to obtain the bending properties of PMI foam core filled GFRP hat-stiffened beam,it was found that the hat-stiffened beam with the structure above mentioned had better ductility and it was safe for failure pattern of beam.The numerical simulation was carried out by a finite element model and the simulation results was similiar to the test results,and it was proved that the numerical simulation was reliable.Based on it,the effects of angle,width and thickness of PMI foam core on stiffness of beam were studied and the numerical calculating was executed.Finally,considering the processing factors,the optimized parameters of PMI foam core filled GFRP hat-stiffened beam were obtained for the body panel of fuel cell car.
