PROPERTIES AND CURING TECHNOLOGY OF BISMALEIMIDE-TRIAZINE MODIFIED BY DIALLYL BISPHENOL A

The modified bismaleimide-triazine(BT) resins were prepared using bisphenol A dicyanate(BADCy),bismaleimide(BMI) and 2,2′-diallyl bisphenol A(DBA).The kinetics was studied and the curing schedule was determined.By analysis,the activation energy was 45.9 kJ/mol,and the curing reaction order was 0.842.The properties of BT resins,such as mechanical properties,thermal properties,were investigated in detail by mechanical measurement,dynamic mechanical analysis(DMA).The results showed that DBA was an excellent modifier to BT resin which had dual action of modifying BMI and catalysting BADCy,and the BT resins had good mechanical properties,dielectric properties(ε=3.35,tgδ=4.0×10-3,1 MHz) and heat resistance(Tg 280℃).
