Dynamics Study of BCE/BMI/EP Copolymerization System

Bisphenol A cyanate(BCE),bismaleimide(BMI)and two kinds of expoy resin(EP)were used to prepare BCE/BMI/EP.The kinetics of the copolymerization reaction of BCE/BMI/EP was studied by using Fourier Transform Infra-Red(FTIR)method.The curing reaction process of this system was traced by FTIR at 150,180 and 200℃ respectively,the conversion ratio curves of each reactant monomer's functional groups at different temperatures were obtained.Finally,the activation energy of this reaction was calculated to be 65.66 kJ/mol.
