State-of-the-art:methods for searching critical slip surface in slope stability analysis

In this paper,a systematical review and appraisement was made to the methods for searching the critical slip surface corresponding to the minimum factor of safety in slope stability analysis,based on which suggestions were given in considering the further developments in the research and applications of searching techniques in the future.
