The problem of plastic overdeformation on the use of the plastic behavior of the flexural member in steel structure

While a design for flexural members in steel structure is in progress,the over use of the plastic behavior of the steel member may cause the problem of over deformation,which is a problem deserve regard.By the analysis of the beam with usual I shaped section,the real cause of the problem is revealed,further more,data validate the view which is proposed in this paper.And several measures for the settlement of this problem are given at last.
