Optimization of the lateral stiffness of shear wall in mid-highrise frame-shearwall structure with special-shaped columns

The effects of the shear deformation of shear wall,the axial deformation of special-shaped columns and the stiffness of binding beams on the lateral stiffness of frame-shearwall structure with special-shaped columns are considered.Based on the principle of continuous-discretized analysis of interactive frame-shearwall structures,and formula for innerforces and displacements of elements are developed by dividing floors into element,horizontal earthquake action are calculated by using the response spectrum and a mathematical model is constructed with interstorey drift,the ratio of lateral stiffness to gravity,storey shear to gravity as constrained conditions.An example shows the model was feasible and effective,and it is suitable for frame-shearwall structure with variable lateral rigidity along height.
