The study on construction control of Maxiaoxi bridge across the Jialingjiang river

The main span of Maxiaoxi bridge across the Jialingjiang river is a continuous prestressed concrete rigid frame girder structure.The cantilever construction method is used and the main girder is divided into several sections and steps of pouring and prestressing.The structure systems and forces in the members are varied during the complicated construction procedures.It is necessary to control the construction procedure.The main method and theory of construction control is introduced.Partially tested results of longitudinal effective prestressing are presented.Owing to the effective control,the alignment and traffic safety are guaranteed after bridge construction completed.
