Experimental study on influence of vibration frequency to dynamic modulus and damping ratio characteristics of saturate sandy pebble soil

Through laboratory tests on sandy pebble soil by using the dynamic triaxial tests,we studied the influence about dynamic modulus and damping ratio under the conditions of different vibration frequency and consolidation stress ration.The thesis analyzes the variation of dynamic characteristics of saturate sandy pebble soil with the different vibration frequency and consolidation stress ration.The result shows that the dynamic modulus can not be influenced by the changes of vibration frequency.But the damping ratio rises with enhance of vibration frequency.
