The experiment and analysis of deformation of reinforcement concrete simply supported beam with 500 MPa bars

Based on the experiments of five simply supported beams with 500MPa bars,one with HRB335 bars and one with HRB400 bars,they are observed that the deformation characteristic and failure mode.The analysis of the experiment results shows that the deformation characteristic of the simply supported beam with 500MPa bars is almost the same as the simply supported beam with HRB335 bars and HRB400 bars.Under the state of serviceability the measured deflection is more than the calculated deflection.It is proposed that this rebar behavior be included in the design code with application condition.
