Experimental study on the loading capacity of a new shape reinforced concrete composite slim beam with full shear connection

A new type of steel-encased concrete composite slim beam are investigated experimentally and theoretically in this paper,including three simply supported beams with full shear connections and two simply supported beam with part shear connections.Good agreement is obtained between the theoretical analysis and the experimental results for bending capability and flexural stiffness of the composite sections.And how to influence the load property of steel-encased concrete composite slim beams about some longitudinal shear constructions are investigated.The research shows that the composite slim beams is good at property of load;and that the theoretical bending capability and flexural stiffness ignoring the influence of slip is well consistent with test results,because the distribution of strains along the section depth in the middle span accords with the horizontal section assumption.
