Guass precise time-integration method for structural seismic response

The displacement and speed response of the structure as the state variable.By combining the Gauss integral method with the calculation technique of matrix exponential function in the precise time-integration method,a new Gauss precise time-integration method for structural seismic responses analysis is proposed.This algorithm avoids the inverse matrix calculation and the simulation of the applied earthquake load and improves the computing efficiency.The order of accuracy depends on the quantity of gauss points and can reach arbitrary-order accuracy in theory.This algorithm has high efficiency and good stabilization.A numerical example is given to demonstrate the validity and efficiency of the method.
