Nonlinear element analysis on the behavior of joints between concrete-filled steel tubular columns with steel reinforced beam

The concrete-filled steel tubular has the behavior of avoiding the limit of axial compression ratio,so has been widely used in high-rising structures recently.The structure of the connections are very complex and it is difficult to construct.The new connections of beam-column constrct easily,but mechanical behavior are need further study on.The joints were analysised by finite element.The result reveals that the two connections' seismic behavior are perfect,good ductility;The deformation of the column and the region of the connection is much smaller when they were broken.Indicating the connections's globality is better and the stiffness is bigger.It avoids brittleness for breaking styles when they are given more burden.The connections satisfy the request of code for seismic design of buildings for strong connections and feebleness member bar.
