Experimental study of deformed lead dampers

A new type deformed lead damper is designed to meet the three-dimensional isolated equipment's requirement of damping,the most characteristic of the damper is that it can provides with horizontal and vertical damping simultaneously.In order to analyze the basic mechanical behaviors of deformed lead damper,a series of tests are made.The study of tests show that the horizontal and vertical hysteretic curve are chubby,the efficiency of energy dissipation is high,and the performance is stable.The deformed lead damper is suitable for vibration control of building and bridge structures.
