Indirect action and material ductility effects on reliability of space truss structure

In the course of construction and applying,structures experience all kinds of direct and indirect actions. Based on the principle of minimum potential energy,the redundancy component matrix of space truss structure is deduced and the indirect action is taken into account in reliability computation. Through Monte Carlo method,the implementation steps of system reliability simulation are established under the influences of both limited ductility material and direct or indirect actions. By analyzing structural reliability of systems under different conditions,it shows that the indirect actions and ductility play great role in reliability accurate calculation.
