The aseismatic analysis on reinforcing steel of the cast-in-place slab to concrete frame structure

It is discovered,from the analysis of the seismic damage after the Wenchuan earthquake,the universal destruction of frame structure in seismic areas was the"strong beam and weak column"model. Therefore the existing code for aseismmatic design of building structure( GB50011-2001) still do not have relevant provision to realize the strong column weak beam principle at present. In order to solve this problem,analysis based on the factors,which affected the application of the strong column weak beam principle on reinforced concrete frame structures,had been done. Furthermore a deep study aimed at the problems concerning the impacts of the reinforcing steel of the cast-in-place slab on the fulfill of the strong column weak beam principle and effects of the cast-in-place slab on the normal section bearing capactity of concrete frambeams got on quickly. Design countermeasures and proposes had been pointed out as follows: (1) It was necessary to take the reinforcement of the slab which was 6h'f in width as the reinforcement of the beams so as to reduce the reinforcing bars of the beams; (2) Regardless of the strengthening effects the slabs on the stiffness of the beams when calculating the reinforcing bars of the beams,and take the strengthening effects into account when calculating the reinforcing bars of the columns.
