Time synchronization research of structure health monitoring by using wireless sensor( Ⅰ)

Time synchronization is the key problem in data acquisition using wireless sensor for structure health monitoring. A virtual experiment by SAP2000 is design in this paper to estimate the effect of structure analysis by time delay. The natural excitation technolo- gy ( NEXT) combined with eigensystm realization technology ( ERA) and peak picking ( PP) method infrequency domain is used for the modal identification. The result of the test show that even a small time delay will change the modal shape of structure identified from the experiment. In the finality,a referenced means are supposed to resolve this problem.
