Reliability study based on Monte Carlo finite element method for high-rise steel frame structure under wind load

According to reliability theory,the basic principles of Monte Carlo stochastic finite element method based on theory of probability are discussed in the paper.By adopting APDL language resulted from finite element program ANSYS,combined with its structure analysis and statistic analysis capability of the PDS module,the program of reliability for resisting wind loading by Monte Carlo stochastic finite element method based on latin hypercube sampling method is written to solve the problem of reliability analysis for a high-rise steel frame construction under wind load.The results show that the use of the method has high accuracy and efficiency of calculation.It is applicable to solve the structural reliability analysis problems.
