An identification method of structural damage based on incomplete frequency response functions

Based on the sensor is incomplete arrangement in the model of civil engineering structures.Derived to be incomplete frequency response function and the proposed damage identification method.This method is a three-stage: "diagnosis-localization-quantification".The first of all,using the frequency response function the offset level of graphics to diagnosis of structural damage.Then,we localize the damage locations by using damage index of different nodes or degree-of-freedoms,which can be obtained from measured incomplete frequency response functions.The end,compression the number of measured elements to achieve the overall integrity of the information,a damage quantification formula is then deduced from the reduced degree-of-freedom system to calculate damage extents.The simulation results demonstrate that the method can achieve damage identification and the accuracy of localization and quantification can be satisfied.
