The analysis about node stiffness of mortise and tenon in ancient building

In order to protect,recover,reinforce ancient building,the studying that how to decide the value about the node stiffness of mortises and tenon in ancient architecture has important significance.This paper takes the timber structure as an example,starts from the infinitesimal components of timber beams and columns which are the basic load-bearing construction to export their deflection curve equation,and uses the spring as the constraint of mortise and tenon which is as the boundary conditions to be entered to get the stiffness value of mortise and tenon;and uses the Clock Tower as an engineering example to establish the ANSYS finite element model,and analyzes the results and measured data.
