Experimental on early plastic shrinking behavior of polypropylene fiber concrete and its application in engineering

By the experimental on early plastic shrinking behavior of polypropylene fiber reinforced concrete,this paper describes the effects of polypropylene fiber with different fiber dosage(0%,0.05%,0.10% and 0.15%) and fiber 1 ength(3 mm,5 mm,8 mm and 15 mm) on concrete plastic shrinking.The experimental result show that the polypropylene fibers can effectively control production and extension of plastic shrinkage cracks in the early stage,and decrease width and length of cracks.And controlling concrete plastic shrinkage crack using polypropylene fibers in engineering was observed,the results show that low content polypropylene fiber can effectively control concrete plastic shrinkage crack.
