VOLTAGE CORRECTIVE CONTROL BASED ON MODIFIED PATTERN SEARCH METHOD IN POWER MARKET

Bus voltage over-limit is one of the most common emergency states in power operation.In traditional voltage corrective control method,the circumstance of power market,as well as the difference among load levels and load quantities,is ignored in the selection of objective function.It is unfair to supply the same security level of power to different customers.There are some deficiencies in their algorithms and their corrective effect are not very satisfying.In this paper the concept of general extent of voltage security(GEVS)is introduced,and it uses the maximization of GEVS of power system as objective function,allowing for load level,load quantity and the quantity of regulators.Using modified pattern search mothed to solve corrective variables can reduce the times of iteration and computation error,and improve the corrective effect.Meanwhile,the problems in computation and possible solutions are discussed.Simulated experiment demonstrates that,the above method is reasonable,feasible,and practical to some extent.
