Analysis on On-line Measurement of Metal Oxide Arrester in 500kV Transformer Substation

This paper introduces on-line measurement system of metal oxide arrester(MOA) in Fanchang 500kV transformer substation,and analyzes on a large amount of measurement data for many years.The results show that,measurement data of MOA on line is comparable to off-line testing results,and the working performance status of MOA can be reflected by on-line testing.On-line measurement provides an effective means of understanding the safe operation situation of MOA for the relevant functional departments.In addition,the paper analyzes technically how to improve the level of on-line testing of MOA.
