The advisor of a King:intellectual's identity and role in Hu Shi's world

As an intellectual, Hu Shi considers the intellectual should be an advisor of a nation, government and governor. The identity of a advisor determines the intellectual's role, method, attitude and aim ,when he criticizes the government. on one hand, he demand the intellectual should has the courage while disputing with the governor; on the other hand, the government should encourage one to oppose itself in the legal method. The aim of the intellectual's criticism is to help the government correct its wrong and unseemliness.
