Analysis on Causes of Generated Yellowish Green Film on Outer Surface of Inner Cover of Box Annealing Furnace

Compositions of the yellowish green film on the outer surface of the inner cover of a box annealing furnace after a grain-oriented silicon steel coil annealed at the high temperature are examined and analyzed.It is concluded that forming the yellowish green film is a normal phenomenon according to the study on technological conditions of the inner cover during annealing as well as the discussion on the anti-oxidation mechanism of the material which is used to make the inner cover.Strictly controlling the high temperature annealing is good for prolonging the service life of the inner cover of the box annealing furnace.
