The effects of potassium (K) deficiency on the absorption and distribution of Fe, Mn, Cu and Zn in ginger were carried out in this experimentThe result showed that K deficiency weakened the roots ability of absorbing Fe, Cu and Zn, which reduced the content of Fe, Cu and Zn in different part of gingerWhile K deficiency enhanced the ability of absorbing Mn,which increased Mn content in leaves, but induced the Mn release from the roots to environment at later growth stage, and finally decreased the accumulation of Mn in individual plant in comparison with K supplied normally
