Effect of Main Characters on Yield of Hybrid Rice

MA Zheng,HUO Er-wei,LU Zhao-cheng,XU Shi-ku(Xinyang Agricultural Scientific Research Institute,Xinyang 464000,China)  
The relations between 6 main characters and yield of 53 hybrid rices were studied by correlation and path analysis.The results showed that the correlations between ear length,grain numbers per ear,1000-grain weight and yield reached significant level;grain numbers per ear and 1000-grain weight have greatest effect on rice yield.The selecting criterions of economic characters about high-yield hybrid rice combinations were put forward.
