Effect of PP_(333) on Growth and Drought Resistance of Tall Fescue

The pot and field experiments were conducted to study the effect of PP_(333) on growth and drought resistance of Tall Fescue turfgrass.The results showed that the medium concentration of PP_(333) could effectively shorten plant height,increase the number of tillers and root top ratio.Compared to CK,the decrease of chlorophyll content was smaller,the accumulation of proline was slower,the leaves' ability to keep water was higher,the decrease of SOD activity and the accumulation of MDA was slower under drought stress when treated with PP_(333) solution.This showed that medium PP_(333) treatment could increase the tolerance to drought of Tall Fescue.The optimum concentration was 60 mg/m~2.
