Study on the Photosynthetic Characteristics of "Xiangling" Walnut with Black Walnut or Walnut as Rootstock

The experiment was conducted with 2-year-old "Xiangling",which used black walnut or walnut as rootstock.The photosynthesis characteristics and chlorophyll content were studied.The results showed that the contents of chlorophyll a,b and(a+b) of "Xiangling"/black walnut were higher than those of "Xiangling"/walnut.The highest photosynthetic rate of "Xiangling"/black walnut was 16.4 μmo1CO2/(m2·s),which was higher than that of "Xiangling"/walnut.There was no significant difference of carboxylation efficiency(CE) between "Xiangling"/black walnut and "xiangling"/walnut.
