Effects of Different Host Plants on Parasitism,Development,Survival and Population Increase of Encarsia Formosa Gahan

The effects of 5 host plants on parasitism,development,survival and population increase of Encarsia formosa Gahan were studied.The parasitic rate varied significantly between host plants;The highest level of parasitism occurred on tomato while the lowest was found on cucumber.The development time,longevity and reproduction of Encarsia formosa were significantly influenced by the host plants,but they no significant influence on survival.
