Quantitative Analysis of the Relationship between Flow of Sap in Apple Tree Trunk and Meteorological Factors

DYNAGAGE packaged sap flow measuring system and MONITOR auto-weather station were applied to measure the trunk sap flow of a typical apple tree and the micro-environmental meteorological condition from August to October in 2006,then multi-factors analysis between sap flow data and meteorological data were conducted.The determinative coefficients of regressive equations calculated by multiple linear regression,stepwise regression and principal components analysis were 0.874,0.881 and 0.891 respectively,while those of the regressive equations between fitted values and actual values of sap flow calculated by three analysis methods were 0.878,0.904 and 0.941 respectively.Principal component analysis was the best method to regress apple tree trunk sap flow and the meteorological factors.
