Identification of SSR Markers Linked to New Wheat Dwarf Gene

In this study,the cross between dwarf germplasm line Shannong 31504-1 and Chinese Spring was carried out for constructing F2 segregation population.By Bulked segregating analysis(BSA) and SSR analysis with 179 pairs of SSR and EST-SSR primer located on 2A chromesome on 197 individuals of F2 segregation population and their parents,two SSR markers(Xwmc522 and Xwmc198) that linked to the dwarf gene in Shannong 31504-1 were screened.The dwarf gene was shown to be closely linked to the marker Xwmc522 and Xwmc198 at a genetic distance of 5.4 cM and 3.2 cM respectively.They could be used in marker-assisted selection directly.
