Pyramiding Xa21 and fgr in Rice by Marker-assisted Selection

The homozygous lines which polymerized the broad spectrum and high resistance gene Xa21 and the fragrance gene fgr and had stable agronomic characters were obtained by crossing,agronomic selection and marker-assisted selection.Based on the resistance identification with seven inoculated strains,these lines showed high resistance to bacterial blight and had the same spectrum and similar resistance level as donor parent IRBB60.At the same time,these lines showed strong fragrance.
