Effects of Different Application Rates of Phosphate Fertilizer on Quality of Pepper(Capsicum annuum L.)

Based on the local application of nitrogen and potassium fertilizers,the effects of different application rates of phosphate fertilizer on the quality of pepper were studied.The results showed that: the treatment of 120 kg P2O5 per hectare could increase the fruit length remarkably,which was 22.9 cm and 9.57% more than that of the control.Compared with the control,the treatments of 120 kg/hm2 and 180 kg/hm2 P2O5 increased the fruit shoulder by 9.1% and 9.0%,the fruit wall by 19.8% and 19.4% significantly,and their vitamin C contents were increased by 13.4% and 14.5%.
