Changes of Cell Defense Enzyme Activity in Grimmiaceae under Low Temperature Stress

The experimental results showed that POD and SOD in Grimmia pilifera and Racomitrium canescens showed different adaptable mechanisms to low temperature.Racomitrium canesces had greater variation in the activity of POD and less variation in SOD activity than Grimmia pilifera.The changing amplitude of the POD and SOD activities were larger at prophase of treatment and the enzyme activities of the low-temperature treatment were higher than those of the control;but at the anaphase,the changes of the enzyme activities were smoother and there were no significant differences among the treatments.
