It is important to maintain adequate and harmonious soil nutrients for high and steady output of fields.Using the surface soil samples taken from the high-yielding fields and compared with the Second Soil General Survey, the correlations of soil nutrients were studied in Liaocheng City,Shandong Province. After 20-year cultivation and fertilization, the surface soil nutrients contents increased obviously, the spatial variability weakened, and the correlativity and balance declined. The changes were mainly due to the increased dependence on chemical fertilizers. Then the countermeasures were also put forward at last.
