Effects of Temperature and Soil Water Content on Egg Hatching of Locusta migratoria manilensis(Meyen)

The relationship of the egg hatching with the combination of temperature and soil water content was discussed in the article by the two factors completely randomized design.The results showed that under the combinations of constant temperature 30℃ or 35℃ and soil water content of 20%,the egg hatching rate was the highest,the hatching time was the shortest and the hatching uniformity was the best,which could be the ideal indices for the locusta egg hatching during the rearing period.
