Preliminary Analysis on Plant Height Inheritance of Cucumber

The parent materials of Aisheng 1 and A38 and their F2 hybrid were used to study the length of hypocotyl,plant height,number of internodes.The results showed that the two parent materials had significant genetic difference in plant height.The plant height and hypocotyl length of F2 population showed statistically normal distribution belonging to quantitative inheritance.The correlation analysis revealed that the number of internodes and the length of hypocotyl had linear correlation with the plant height of cucumber with R20.7(P0.05).
