Study on Introduction of Vermin-Resistance Gene(CpTI) into Wheat through Pollen-Tube Pathway Method

Yu Hongxin,Liu Jianjun,Feng Zhaoli & Dong Jinduo (Shandong Cadres College of Agricultural Administration,Jinan 250100)  
The plasmid(pAPCpTI-1-D) with CpTI gene was introduced into winter wheat 92(8)802 through pollen-tube pathway,eighteen green seedlings were obtained after screening the progeny in 40mg/L Kanamycin solution,and ten of them survived after transplanting.Results of PCR and Southern hybridization analysis proved that five plants treated by dropping DNA liquid after cutting off the stigma had integrated the CpTI gene into their genome.These five putative transgenic plants grew well and had full seed.
