Synthesis and its anti-ultraviolet,anti-oxidation activity of calix[4]arene derivative containing Schiff-base fraction

For developing the functional organic compound with anti-ultraviolet and anti-oxidation activity simultaneously,calix [4] arene derivative containing Schiff-base fraction 4 was designed and synthesized.The structure of 4 was confirmed by 1HNMR,13CNMR,IR and MS(Maldi-Tof).Ultraviolet absorption spectrometry at range of 280-400 nm and the efficiency of radical scavenging of 4 were tested.The results showed that 4 demonstrated anti solar UVA activity due to its obvious ultraviolet absorption at 325nm and a certain anti-oxidation activity for the efficiency of radical scavenging of 34%.It's also found that compound 3,4,5,11,17-tert-butyl-25,27 dihydroxyl-26,28 di(hydrazide group methoxyl) calix[4]arene,the intermediate of 4,was with high efficiency of radical scavenging about 90%.
