An algorithm of focusing region selection for auto-focusing

ZHU Kong-feng(School of Electronic Science and Technology,Anhui University,Hefei 230039,China)  
The foreground image had to be chosen as focusing window while selecting the focusing window,since the interested region was mostly the foreground image.And the method of estimating the foreground region was mainly adopted to get focusing window.Advantages and shortcomings of several algorithms,including centre region selection and multi-region selection were given in the paper,and the un-uniform sampling region selection was also proposed.
