PETROLOGICAL LINEAGE UNIT DIVISION AND CHARACTERISTICS OF THE METAMORPHOSED GRANITE IN THE NORTHERN DABIE OROGEN

The formerly called Dabie complex has been discomposed in this paper into meta crustose, meta ultramafic rock, and meta granite that widely distributes in the Dabie orogen based on 1: 50000 regional geological survey. It is found that the meta granite has an evolving trend from the dioritic(quartz dioritic) to quartz monzodioritic then quartz monzonitic in composition, and a regular change from the fine grained to medium fine grained, then medium fine grained coarsely porphyritic, finally medium fine grained mega porphyritic in texture. According to the petrological lineage unit division rule these rocks are divided and reunited to establish the Yuexi gneissic suite for they are associated with one another spatially and have comagmatic evolution features. Additionally, a discription has been made on the rocks in petrology, petrochemistry and geochemistry, which are proved to be calc alkaline ones formed in island arc environment and serve as an important geological basis for understanding the Dabie orogen.
