METHODOLOGICAL STUDY ON UPDATING FUNDAMENTAL GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION BY USE OF SATELLITE AND AIRBORNE IMAGE

Updating geographical information is a necessary condition for the actuality of the system. Satellite remote sensing image data typical of short period, rich information and high actuality has been proved effective for the update. How to integrate the superior image data information collected from different sensors by data fusion technology is the currently hot spot of research. Data fusion with airborne and landsat multi-spectral image is able to upgrade the image's spatial resolution.
